One month in…
Since this is the first update I thought I'd do a brief overview. principles.design launched in December. The reception has been overwhelming. I'd like to thank you all for your support, follows, retweets and feedback. A special thanks goes to those who have contributed to the site.
In the first month the site received 415k page views from 190 countries and made it to the front page of Hacker News. It also won Product of the Day, Product of the Week and Product of the Month on Producthunt.com.
It's not all been plain-sailing. I'm now very aware that not everybody likes the colour yellow :)
I've been chipping away at the site for a while and planned to launch it this year in a more polished state. But I thought it would be good to release the bare bones of the site early on and get feedback. Even if it was a bit rough around the edges I think this has paid off.
If you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late.
The newsletter will contain interesting links, resources and examples. For those that wish to contribute there will be tips and suggestions for how to do so.
If there's anything in particular you'd like to see on the site or if you have any questions please feel free to let me know. You can reply to this email or message me on twitter.
